Maybe a leader would figure out how to subsidize reduced working hours or work from home legislation.
I read Alberta Premier Jason Kenney’s comment in last week’s paper about needing to build 800 new schools to have smaller classrooms.
That’s the kind of answer I expect from a toddler who doesn’t want to answer the question. I think a leader would look outside of the box and consider half-day classes with some condensed learning to allow smaller class sizes and appropriate social distancing. This would interrupt the daycare aspect of school.
Maybe a leader would figure out how to subsidize reduced working hours or work from home legislation (which could create employment opportunities for others) until we figure out how to keep our curve manageable and not use my children as guinea pigs.
Kenney, we need a leader, not a flippant toddler.
