Green grass and blue skies
This week the clock jumped ahead, the temperature topped out at 11 Celsius and water is running down the yard. Visions of green grass, fruit trees blossoming, crops growing in fields and garden plants rising to the sun run through my mind. Bees from the apiary across the road visiting in search of something sweet. All a promise of spring and summer to celebrate another trip around the sun.
Is low attendance a good thing?
I don’t know if it’s because crime is dropping, because people are focussed on COVID right now or if they think RCMP need to stay the course but I was a little surprised to hear very few people participated in the Wetaskiwin RCMP’s virtual town hall meetings over the past couple of weeks.
